Specification

The Shark aircraft is constructed in purpose built workshops by a closely managed team of experts using hi-tech Carbon fibre and Kevlar composites. Its design and construction is second to none in the light aircraft industry, and the management and inspection processes that the aircraft goes through during its build are compliant to UK requirements. For Shark Aero SAFETY is paramount.

The Shark aircraft is a 2 seat tandem aircraft, it boasts many unique features all designed and embodied to make flying this aircraft the ultimate experience.

It is powered by the ubiquitous Rotax 912ULS (100hp) aircraft engine, which has been the mainstay for many years in the light aircraft industry, it has been proven to be a great balance for performance and reliability.

As well as its incredible construction in carbon fibre and Kevlar, that technology has also been embodied in its well-appointed and upholstered adjustable seats with adjustable headrest.  To ensure a perfect fit for both pilot and passenger the Shark also has easily adjustable control pedals. When it comes to controls the Shark has side stick control with all the important functions like trim, radio and autopilot built in, and on the opposite side of the cockpit and readily to hand are the flight controls including throttle, prop, fuel management etc.

The Sharks fighter like stance is enhanced with amazing visibility with its specially moulded optically clear canopy.

So will it fit in your hangar? The Shark has a wing span of 7.9m an overall length of 6.7m and an overall height of 2.5m.

The Shark has a MTOW of 600kg, typical empty weight of 300kg leaving a usable payload of around 300kg for aircrew, fuel and baggage.
